Just curious, you know I really like that purple woollen beret you have on in a photo (taken on a train – yes, told you my memory is elephantine). Now where did you buy that from and does it impart static to your hair and can you show me how to wear it with my hair length? Serious.

You are welcome to compliment me ;-) I will smile oddly and say thank-you, with nary a word about where I bought it or how much for, much as I remember both what with a tiny wardrobe that I possess.

I can however, if pressed, tell you the per-wear cost of some things but that is how I justify spending good money on stuff I then use constantly. :-P

PS: Something tells me if people simply accepted your compliments, you will find a way to blog about that too :-) No?
