Proper Indian Food and Thin Indians

London/ Tiffin Bites/ Thin Indians

Spotted at Tiffinbites, London. Photograph taken on the sly. The board says Proper Indian food is not fattening. Real Indian cuisine doesn’t use a lot of oil. Neither do we. How many fat Indians do you see?

Maybe I should have just stood in front of the signpost and gotten photographed with it – that would really defeat the advert. And I think I’ve had too much Improper Indian Food and Unreal Indian Cuisine. Sigh! As for fat Indians? Umm..

That’s just silly. And asking for trouble, really. What if a large collection of indignant and ample women turned up to protest this calumny? :-)

  2. rr: Oh No! You are yet to be then initiated into the Proper way of Large and Ample Persons (LAAPs). They believe all signboards and yet to their heart’s content instead of protesting. Such signs my dear – are God’s own signage.

Let me come on over and add weight (pun intended?) to your protest campaign.
