Meeting Sri for lunch provides much scope for much fun. Today for instance, while waiting outside the Liverpool Street Station, instead of the usual handing-out-pamphlet routine, a bunch of people were doing some live street advertising. Along with a few people sitting on the road on coloured cushions pretending to smoke their hukkahs, there was a donkey with a cart. They were offering free donkey rides. I was so happy to see that little donkey. (Actually by donkey standards, it was rather tall.) The donkey was standing there, looking a little paavum, but provided much respite to a lot of the afternoon crowd. I had a few happy minutes playing with it.
I guess the stunt was for a new bar or something. But they smartly tied up with some real estate chaps who work with the business in Morocco. Who cares. The donkey was adorable. And my day is made!

Nilu: All I could catch was Bray-ahacharanam.
LOL!
The donkey does look paavum….and cute!
Why does the word “donkey” produce such laughter? :)
I also liked how you added the soft-focus in the second pic. Makes it a very sappy, greeting-cardish shot.
Thats indeed a paavum donkey…hey btw did you get to catch any street shows at covent garden?
you can probbaly write a piece on that maybe. I
I highly reccomend you seeing “Woman in Black ” (theatre) just in case you have the time. Its bloddy scary!!

km: All that donkey misses is an antler cap. :D
Vikram Iyengar: Suggestion noted. Will try and catch it. Horror is a big hit in this house!
Faffer and Kaps: Thanks so much. :)
