I like Mommy Blogs a lot. Actually I like Daddy Blogs too. It’s interesting how there are some patterns across these intensely personal experiences. Some of them are so articulate and wonderful that you want them to keep having babies and just write! (Oh God, did I just say that?).
I find it annoying when at a lot of Blogging events and forums, people write about Parent Blogging with a very dismissive wave of the hand. While I enjoy reading about the trials of having children, what I find even more fascinating is how we look at parents, specifically mothers. Some of them seem to be dealing with the foolishness of the world with such grace and dignity, that’s it just wonderful. Plus, it gives me constant fodder to indulge in lazy semiotics. One of my current favourites these days has to be The Mad Momma. Sharp, funny and amazingly articulate.
Have you ever read Dooce? The link is on my blog and it is one of the funniest & best written ones about everything from pregnancy to child birth to bringing up kid….
After ‘Chick Blogs’, ‘Mommy Blogs’. Enchanting!
“Oh God, did I just say that?”

Btw, thanks for the Mad Momma link. It’s a good link. :)
Intense, personal-I’ve felt the same about momma blogs , and each having its own characteristic stamp.
Try Boo – intense, personal and funny also Mama says so – has an analytical approach.
