Global Voices wins Knight-Batten 2006

In case you do follow Global Voices, we were one of the six finalists for the Knight-Batten Awards for Innovations in Journalism for 2006. Even as Georgia was live-blogging the event today, sitting with Rebecca MacKinnon and Alice Backer – we just heard that we won! : ) Yay Global Voices! From a post on the blog
