One of the flip sides of this blog becoming slightly “popular” is that it has become less “me”. While sometime back I could flippantly say just about anything, I have inadvertently become more careful and been holding myself back. That’s just pompous, pretentious and chicken of me. Or maybe it’s a little late in the night and I am being a bit too self-critical. Either way, be nice to me.
Meanwhile I think everybody should see this. Seriously.
ROTFL, have heard the song before never seen it. Unbelievable
You seek pattern, I see patterns in your blog posts :-)
Interesting train of thoughts. Your previous post was on Smart women and marriage, and this post with the YouTube link is about a high school topper, who went on to become a career woman first as an actress and then as a consummate politician. I almost did not recongize “lubber wai.” I mistook him for Vadiyar. Blame it on the fuzzy B W clip. Boy, can you imagine watching the entire movie…it will so jolly…I would be rolling on the floor in laughter at the sheer antics and the simpering ways of Ms. Jayalalitha. All you need is a constant supply of medhy vadas and kappi.
Kamla
I have inadvertently become more careful and been holding myself back.
Yup, same here – except once every 40 or so posts when I just say what the heck, and go ahead and rant anyway.
“lubber wai?”
Arrrrrgh!
//I think everybody should see this. Seriously.//
Yeah, that was truly a WTF material.
WA: Glad to make you laugh! :D
Kamla: It’s rather interesting isn’t it. Even now in Tamil cinema, the theme of the overeducated arrogant woman is rather overarching. Like a constant replay of the “Taming of the Shrew”.
Jabberwock: Yes, I suppose one does the 40-post lapse. I just wish it was a bit easier or I had more guts.
Prakash: Yes. Aaargghh!
RaajK: Well, I wouldn’t go that far.. It’s fun. Enjoy it.
Neha, what do you think is the reason for your holding back? Is it because you want to make the posts interesting for a larger audience? I am just curious?
Twisted DNA: I think it might have something to do with being pounced on too frequently. :)
