Walrus, Carpenter and the Media

walruscarpenter.jpg

This photograph was taken in a small restaurant called The Walrus and The Carpenter. Lewis Carroll fans will know that it was probably this brilliant little piece that inspired the restaurant owner. Well, all this because for some reason with all this really gossipy reporting on news channels about Rahul Mahajan, I was curiously reminded of these lines.

“I weep for you,” the Walrus said:
“I deeply sympathize.”
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

“O Oysters,” said the Carpenter,
“You’ve had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?’
But answer came there none–
And this was scarcely odd, because
They’d eaten every one.

To those of you who can make sense of this post – Many Thanks! :)
