Lunch with a blogger

Many thanks to MumbaiGirl for an afternoon well spent. It was discovered that the said blogger lives 9 minutes away by the underground. An afternoon that should see me chasing a deadline, was instead enjoyed eating lunch and having fun. Sharing an Alma Mater also helps.

Among other things – animals, food, london weather, siblings, spices, food and husbands were discussed. Very fruitful. (Also very Dal-Chawal)

  1. WA says:

Guys, have been meaning to email you last few days. Will do so soon

  2. km says:

Why is it that lunching wives discuss husbands but lunching husbands steer away from that topic?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

  3. WA: Am keeping a close watch on my inbox. Mail! Quick!

km: Maybe because husbands don’t discuss. They just grunt over lunch. All conversations between husbands happen in a series of nods, grunts and uh-uhs. As opposed to articulate wives and all. *grin*

  4. WA says:

am having problems finding your email address, I am probably blind :(

  5. WA says:

  7. MumbaiGirl says:

Loved having you over. Promise next time it will be something better than dal chawal.

  8. MumbaiGirl: Loved the dal-chawal. And I found myself wishing I had eaten more of that shrikhand!
